Stable Isotope Workshop
BEMP is partnering with the UNM Center for Stable Isotopes (CSI) to put on a two-day workshop for high school students that are interested in learning about stable isotopes and how they can be used to answer ecological questions. Students that show a particular interest in isotope studies after the workshop may have an opportunity to do isotope research of their own with the CSI.
If you know some students that you think would be good candidates for this workshop, please pass on this information to them. Or pass on the information to your whole class! We have space for 40 students in the workshop. If more than 40 apply we will randomly select 40 of the applicants to participate.
The workshop is on September 13th and 14th and is at no cost.
Application deadline: Friday, August 31st
Students will be notified by September 4th if they will be participating.
