BEMP’s UNM Intern Class took to the field this week to practice collecting data and navigating a BEMP site at the Rio Grande Nature Center.  Starting in September 2015, BEMP interns mentor K-12 students and ensure that they are collecting accurate data at all 30 BEMP sites.  In class, interns study bosque ecology and assist with BEMP’s data collection and processing both in the field and the UNM lab.
