BEMP Bosque Field Guide Workbook

This workbooks guides students through various activities in learning about the plants and animals in the bosque ecosystem. Create your own bird after learning about bird adaptations and even create your own adult macro-invertebrate after it has undergone metamorphosis. Once you're done, go on an outdoor scavenger hunt in the bosque or around your home.

Printing instructions: This workbook needs to be printed on 8.5" x 11" paper. It needs to be printed on both sides using the "short-edge binding" option.

What is an alebrije? In Mexican folk art, an alebrije is a colorful sculpture of fantasy and mythical creatures. The first alebrije was created by Pedro Linares after a dream while sick where he saw these amazing creatures and they kept saying the word “alebrije” to him.
