Co-Directors Dan Shaw and Kim Eichhorst (PhD) received the 2012 Forest Service Chief’s Award for Engaging Urban America! Seventh grade students from the Albuquerque Institute of Math and Science (AIMS) joined our BEMP staff for the award in early spring of 2013. Three AIMS 7th grade classes rotate through the City of Albuquerque’s Tingley Beach site, known in BEMP as the “Biopark” site, to collect data each month.
